    Hello

    How can I change the menu style?

    For example, watch the menu style of the site Greyscalegorilla. I want plain menu style like this site. Give me suggestions.

    Thanks

    Sagar

    Hi

    I'm not sure I understand?  You want the menu on https://greyscalegorilla.com/tutorials/#all to be like https://greyscalegorilla.com/?

    They are the same?  Or are you referring to the Filiter menu?  Can you provide some further detail?

    Thanks

    Please cheek the attachment 01 there is no block under the menu text.

    But if you cheek the attachment 02 there are blocks under the menu. I don't want that. How Can I make my menus like the

    attachment one,

    Are you ok now?

    Hi Sagar

    That 2nd bar is the breadcrumb wrapper, you want to remove the breadcrumb on that page only or the entire site?

    Thanks

    Hi Sagar

    I apologize, when I visit the site I do not see any menus on your site that look like attachment 2?

    So I'm a little confused as to your request?

    Thanks

    Hello Barbi

    i am talking about Horizontal menu. See in my site there is a box under every menu. I don't want that box. I want clean horizontal menu like that site.

    Do u got my point?

    Thanks

    Hi Sagar

    To remove the background color you see on hover for the horizontal menu you would need to add custom CSS to remove that like this.  Go to Appearance >> Customize >> Additional CSS and copy/paste this CSS below the comment and click Save & Publish:

    ul.horiz li a:hover {
    background: transparent !important;
    background-color: transparent !important;
    }

    To remove the breadcrumb under the menu just deactivate the Breadcrumb NavXT plugin.

    Hope that helps!

    Thanks

    Hello Barbi

     Sorry, I think I was not able to make you understand about my issue. My menu style is attachment "02", I want that exactly like the attachment "01".

    Please watch  two attachments and sort out the differences and tell me please just how can I make my one like the other one.

    Thanks

    Hi Sagar

    Where on your site do you see 02.jpg?  Where on the site do you see 01.jpg?  Can you give me exact links?

    I don't see either of these examples on your site.  The only difference I see between 01.jpg and 02.jpg is that there is a background color for each item and that the colors are different.

    It's impossible to judge what you are wanting from screenshots.  If you can send a direct link to what you see now to a direct link of what you are wanting it may be easier for me to ascertain the

    Hi Sagar, there was no menu on http://mythemepreviews.com/squarecode-alt/ (thanks for bringing that to our attention) because under Appearance >> Theme Options we only had the Popout Menu selected:

    But now you can see it's there:

    If you want the Account item to not be over to the right, then remove the register class from the CSS Classes on Appearance >> Menus

    If you want to reduce the height of the menu and the initial background color on page load, then you would use this CSS:

    ul.horiz {
    line-height: 0;
    padding: 0;
    }
    .menu-menu2-container {
    margin:0 !important;
    }
    .horizontal_menu_wrapper {
    min-height:30px;
    }
    ul.horiz li.menu-item a {
    background-color: transparent !important;
    border-radius: 0px !important;
    color: #AFB2B6 !important;
    }
    ul.horiz li a:hover {
    background: #363f48 !important;
    }
    .horizontal_menu_wrapper, ul.horiz li ul {
    background-color: #495356 !important;
    }
    ul.horiz li ul, ul.horiz li ul.sub-menu li ul {
    background: #495356 !important;
    line-height: 0 !important;
    border-radius: 0 !important;
    padding:0 !important;
    }
    ul.horiz li.menu-item ul.sub-menu li a {
        border-radius: 0 !important;
        display: block !important;
        margin: 0 !important;
        padding: 0 !important;
    }
    ul.horiz li ul, ul.horiz li ul.sub-menu li ul {
    min-width: 10em !important;
    }
    ul.horiz li ul.sub-menu li:first-of-type {
        padding: 14px 0 0 !important;
    }

    What you are asking for is a customization and those are not covered under the free support.

    The menu style you are wanting has been replaced with a new updated menu in one of the recent updates. If you want any further customizations to this menu you would need to request a quote. I've ran through and quickly gave you all the CSS (as I also did previously).

    Thanks
