    I have followed your online guide found here.

    https://cr3ativ.com/squarecode-wp-documentation

    When I get to the step of importing the XML file. It doesn't fully work.. It comes up with errors after about 60-90 seconds of loading.

    Usually I could work with a semi faulty import like this but it is not even importing any of the 'pages' which means i have nothing in Appearance -> Menus either.

    I have every single plugin that your guide requires to install prior to setting up the XML Import.

    I just want everything to look exactly like the demo content.

    Please help.

    thankyou for responding. I will give it a go and let you know how it turns out.

    Quick question is the downloads XML supposed to be only 8 lines of code?

    I cant actually save it as an XML document.

    It just says this

    <Error>
    <Code>AccessDenied</Code>
    <Message>Access Denied</Message>
    <RequestId>D301933FDEE588EE</RequestId>

    </Error>

    So 9/10 worked depending on the order I uploaded them.

    But the downloads.xml is still blank.

    So I have no mock products and vendors.

    Having also some trouble with your shop page template, Using EDD FES. I have uploaded some screenshots.

    UPDATE: It is now showing a shop once I made some fake products. But when I click 'VIEW STORE' It goes directly to the product. which is this URL: http://localhost:8085/mysite/downloads/fake-product/

    And then I have to click 'VIEW FULL STORE' to see the actual store. Which is this URL: http://localhost:8085/mysite/shop/

    Am I missing something simple?

    Hi Jade

    Can you please replace the theme with this that we are currently testing for the latest FES release to see if that resolves most of the issues?

    Attached files:  squarecode-wp.zip

    Thanks

    I have purchased your theme and tried to import the xml file to no avail... It just kills the session. Also the attached file for square code-wp.zip just killed wordpress on my upload... Not good!

    Hi Barbi :)

    Some things have been fixed and some not. I hope you can help me and it is not too much of a hassle!

    1. OK the updated theme has somewhat fixed my problem with VIEW STORE/VIEW FULL STORE and SHOP template. Thank you for that!

    2. Unfortunately I'm still missing the downloads.XML file. But do not worry about that! I am wondering instead what dimensions have you used for the product pictures on the Square-code Demo? Or is there a way to lock Image dimension size with EDD FES so all vendors can only upload product pictures of the same dimensions?

    3. Lastly the Updated Theme that you sent me did not fix the EDD sidebar Widget unfortunately. It still jumps around and locks my page at the bottom :( Hopefully there is some simple CSS to fix it.

    Kind Regards

    Jade

    Hi Jade

    No worries at all, I'm happy to hear we're getting there at least!

    Ok for the XML import, try following this link, we provide each XML into smaller chunks to help with the upload limitation.  We're still trying to review what's changed as we've got a lot of users now saying they can't upload the XML file, in my beta testing I'm trying to come up with a new XML to test with.  The smaller chunks of the XML will set up everything for you except the menus.  Unfortunately, WordPress doesn't provide a way to export/import menus.  But I've provided screen shots in that article of how our menus are set up on the live preview.  If you run into any trouble, just gimme a shout!

    As for the sidebar widget, yes, I've noticed that in my beta testing as well and I'm still trying to review it to see what's causing the issues there.  There's no js errors so I'm not sure where the conflict is coming from.  But for now (while I review this) if you want to just remove the sticky sidebar bit so you can at least keep moving forward, just edit the footer.php file, scroll all the way down to the bottom and look for this javascript:

            // Create a sticky sidebar for single product pages to improve UX and conversions but first we check for screen size
            if(window.matchMedia('(min-width: 1024px)').matches) {
            jQuery("body.single-download .right_content.edd_downloads").stick_in_parent({offset_top: 20});
            }

            var window_width = jQuery( window ).width();
                if (window_width < 1025) {
                  jQuery("body.single-download .right_content.edd_downloads").trigger("sticky_kit:detach");
                } else {
                  make_sticky();
                }
            jQuery( window ).resize(function() {
                  window_width = jQuery( window ).width();
                      if (window_width < 1025) {
                        jQuery("body.single-download .right_content.edd_downloads").trigger("sticky_kit:detach");
                      } else {
                        make_sticky();
                      }
            });
            function make_sticky() {
              jQuery("#sidebar").stick_in_parent({
                parent: '.entry-content'
              });
            }

    Just remove all of that out of the footer.php.  You can generally edit php files from within WordPress by going to Appearance >> Editor. The current theme will show in the dropdown in the top right corner.  The list of files on the left is all the files that are in the theme's root directory.  Just click footer.php and in the window on the left it will load the files.  Remove that js above and then click the blue Update File button to save the changes.

    Please let me know if that helps!

    Thanks

    HEY HEY Barb

    Deleting the JS worked like a treat! Even though it doesn't move at least there is functionality back to the page. Thank you very much :)

    Unfortunately I am still having problems with your downloads.xml

    going to upload a quick screen grab of the problem.

    You might know what to do.

    Hi Nun, please open your own ticket so that we can verify your purchase.  Also please make sure you are following the instructions here to upload the XML in single files due to the server limitation of the upload size.
